APPLE FIRE EVACUATION WARNING LIFTED FOR MORONGO VALLEY

The Morongo Valley Fire Department has confirmed that the evacuation warning for the Apple fire has been lifted for Morongo Valley as of noon Monday. The Apple fire is now at more than 32,900 acres and is 45 percent contained. Most of the fire is burning in the interior of the fire and crews are working to keep the flames within established control lines.
