A new court date has been set in the protracted battle over the proposed Dollar General store in Joshua Tree. The project has been blocked for about a year since the Joshua Tree Downtown Business Alliance successfully challenged the development pending an evaluation based on California Environmental Quality Act requirements. Oral arguments on that appeal will be heard at 8:30 in the morning this Monday, June 6, at the Fourth District State Court of Appeals (Division 2) in Riverside.
