ANOTHER WATER VENDING MACHINE THEFT

Three weeks after two water vending machines were broken into in Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms, another water machine was vandalized over the weekend. According to a Sheriff’s report, sometime between 11 p.m. Friday night and 4:45 a.m. Saturday morning, an unknown suspect cut a square hole into the side of a Glacier water vending machine in the 56200 block of 29 Palms Highway. It’s unknown how much money was taken from the machine. Sometime during the last weekend in August, Glacier vending machines were broken into in a similar manner at the Dollar Tree store Twentynine Palms and the “new” Stater Brothers in Yucca Valley. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
