County firefighters were called to another suspicious fire in Twentynine Palms Monday. Just before 6 p.m., Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree fire crews, with assistance from the Combat Center, were called to the 73600 block of Calle Todd Lane where they found a double-wide trailer fully involved in flames. The trailer was a total loss as it burned to the ground. The fire is suspicious in nature since there were no utilities to the site. The Sheriff’s Arson and Bomb unit is investigating. There have been seven other suspicious fires in the Twentynine Palms-Wonder Valley area in the last five weeks.
