A listener called us recently to say she had received a phone call from someone who said they were from Z107.7 Radio. She said she was told the radio station was doing a phone survey and that she had won some prizes. This is false. Z107.7 employees have not and are not calling Morongo Basin residents, and Z107.7 employees are not asking questions about anything, especially not about how many people live in your household, how old they are, what sex they are, and what their phone number is. Z107.7 Radio is not calling you to give away prizes, money, coupons, donuts, tickets, or to conduct a survey. All of our prizes are given away when we ask–on the air—for YOU to call US. If you get a call from someone who says they’re from Z107.7, hang up and call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
