ANOTHER ROCK CLIMBER FALLS IN JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK

It’s spring break and that means the rock climbers are out in force in Joshua Tree National Park. For the second day in a row, Joshua Tree firefighters were called to help a rock climber who fell in Joshua Tree National Park. About 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, a 21-year-old man from Southern California was climbing Intersection Rock without a rope when he fell about 20 to 25 feet to the ground. The man suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
