It’s spring break and that means the rock climbers are out in force in Joshua Tree National Park. For the second day in a row, Joshua Tree firefighters were called to help a rock climber who fell in Joshua Tree National Park. About 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, a 21-year-old man from Southern California was climbing Intersection Rock without a rope when he fell about 20 to 25 feet to the ground. The man suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
