Although the peak of the Perseid meteor shower may be past, they are still visible in the night skies. A smaller meteor shower will be peaking Tuesday night. Check the northern sky around 10 o’clock to see the Kappa Cygnid meteors. They are named after a star in the constellation Cygnus, or the Swan, but they are more likely to be seen in the Draco constellation. The meteors will radiate above the Ursa Minor constellation. At their peak, you might be able to see six meteors an hour, with an occasional fireball. The Perseids are visible through August 24, and the Kappa Cygnids can be seen until September 1.
