ANOTHER BURGLARY TO SKY’S THE LIMIT

3

Deputies are asking for the public’s help in another burglary at Sky’s the Limit in Twentynine Palms. Sometime Saturday night, thieves attempted to break into a storage container on the observatory campus by drilling through a lock; however, the drill bit broke and the thieves did not break in. However, the thieves returned sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning and this time were successful in breaking into the storage unit and stole thousands of dollars’ worth of stage sound and lighting equipment. In July of last year, thieves vandalized the walkable model of the planet system, known as the orrery. And four years, thieves stole solar panels and batteries. Anyone with information should call Deputy Romo at 760-366-4175.
