Retired Master Sergeant Anthony Guerrero Benavente, a 29-year resident of Twentynine Palms, died on February 21, 2021. He was 71 years old. He is survived by his wife Karen Benavente, daughters Margaret-Lillian and Dawn-Danielle, and sons James, David, and Warren, as well as his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Anthony spent a total of 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. A one-year anniversary memorial mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church in Twentynine Palms on Monday, February 21, 2022.
