The musical “Annie” continues to delight audiences at Theatre 29. With more information about the spunky orphan, here’s Rebecca Havely…
The spunky little orphan Annie is live on stage at Theatre 29. Played by young talent Carly Bateman, this little orphan will tug at your heart strings this holiday season. She certainly wins the heart of Daddy Warbucks played by Charles Harvey and his secretary Grace played by Cindy Ross. Even with a trio of con-artists trying to ruin Annie’s Christmas she insists “the sun will come out tomorrow.” Con-man Rooster and his no-good gal pal Lilly are played by Chris and Katie Fleischman, and the booze-swilling Miss Hannigan is portrayed by Char Childs. This family friendly show is chock full of Christmas spirit and songs you know and love.
“Annie” runs weekends with Friday and Saturday evening performances at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:30 through December 16. Tickets from $10 to $15 are available at theatre29.org or by calling the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151.
