ANIMAL TRACKS AND TRACES AT HI-DESERT NATURE MUSEUM TOMORROW

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum will present their Science Saturday lecture tomorrow. Reporter Taylor Thacker says attendees will learn about animal traces in our desert…

Tracks and traces can provide a glimpse into the lives of animals whose actions are otherwise hidden from us. On Saturday, May 11, from 11 to 11:30 am, join museum educator Crystal Mason at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum to learn about animal traces. These traces can tell us not only where the animal has been, but also what it could have been doing. During this Science Saturday, children of school age will learn many techniques in identifying animal traces and how to decipher them. No sign-up is needed. For more information call 760-369-7212. Come out and learn something new this Saturday.
