The Animal Action League announced that they spayed and neutered 106 dogs and cats in the first week since re-opening. The clinic urges customers to be patient as it is still fine-tuning its new procedures for checking in patients for surgeries and vaccine/microchip clinics. Due to the extreme heat in the Coachella Valley, Animal Action League will not be holding clinics in the low desert through the summer, as its employees will not be able to wear masks. As a result, the Animal Action League will only operate its Joshua Tree clinic through at least the summer. Regular hours of the spay-neuter clinics at its Joshua Tree office in June are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 1-4, June 9-12, June 16, June 18-20, June 23-27, and June 29 and 30.
