Show off your pet in a best-dressed pet contest at the grand opening celebration of the Animal Action League in Joshua Tree Saturday. The celebration is from 10 to 3, with the large pet contest at 11, and the small pet contest at 1 p.m. The celebration will also include pony rides, bounce house, and other children’s activities; a food and a bake sale for humans and pets; raffles; vendors of all types; and pet adoptions.
