One of the two buildings of the new Yucca Valley senior housing complex has been completed and residents are starting to move in. The 74-unit complex is being built next to the Yucca Valley Town Hall and Senior Center on Dumosa Trail and the highway. The second building is nearing its end of construction.
Construction is continuing on the club house at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club at Blue Skies, and the parking lot will be paved this week. The golf course should be ready for play by the first of the year.
The new Taco Bell and Panda Express, currently under construction in the Walmart parking lot, should be completed and ready for business prior to the end of the year.
Construction is underway at Ross, and while the contractor has said the project should be completed by the end of the year, Ross is planning a February 2015 grand opening.
Work has been on-going at two new housing subdivisions. At Desert Vista Village, on the south side of the highway on Palm Avenue, 20 of the 105 homes have been completed. Another residential subdivision on Acoma Trail, south of Onaga, has 17 homes completed of the 55 homes proposed.
