Theater 29 continues its run tonight of the Oscar Wilde comedy, “An Ideal Husband,” a classic English drawing-room comedy with a large talented cast. Co-directors Butch Pelfry and Tom Highfill tackled the show together. It’s about a politician who gets where he is by being crooked, and the blackmailing schemes of a villainess rival. The elegant set and brilliant costumes add to the sophistication of this witty piece of classic, live theater. The play runs through February 7 with Friday and Saturday performances at 7 p.m., and a 2:30 matinee tomorrow, February 1. For reservations, call the theater box office at 760-361-4151. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military, $8 for students with I.D. You can also purchase tickets on line at theatre29.org.
