Join the Yucca Valley Galaxy Club on Sunday, August 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. for their annual Ice Cream Social. There will be sundaes with all kinds of toppings, as well as a selection of baked items. The cost is $5. Proceeds will be used to raise funds for the fraternal purposes of the nonprofit organization. The event will be held at the Masonic Hall next door to the Yucca Valley Swap Meet off Old Woman Springs Road.
