A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday, accused of possession of a dangerous weapon. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the Walmart shopping center about 2:15 p.m. for a report of a man, later identified as Casey Moses, 30, arguing with his ex-girlfriend. When deputies arrived, Moses fled on foot, but was captured after a short pursuit. During the pursuit, Moses allegedly dropped drug paraphernalia. Deputies also located a knife on his person, and at the jail, they found heroin in his possession. After an investigation, Casey Moses was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dirk or dagger, and for a warrant for his arrest for conspiracy, and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
