AN ARREST FOR TRANSPORTATION OF METHAMPHETAMINE

A Highland man was arrested Tuesday, accused of transporting methamphetamine for sales. According to a Sheriff’s report, Darby Hess, 47, was at the Sheriff’s station at 3:40 p.m. when he was arrested on suspicion of unlawful sale of speed. Darby Hess was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
