A Yucca Valley man with a warrant for his arrest for possession of stolen property was arrested Friday. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies received a tip that Jason Delay, 44, was at a home in the 58800 block of Yucca Trail about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. When deputies arrived, Delay escaped out his bedroom window, but deputies found him hiding in the back yard. While searching his room, deputies located a bag of suspected methamphetamine. Jason Delay was arrested for his $25,000 warrant, and for possession of methamphetamine and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail.
