A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Saturday morning after his wife said he choked her. According to a Sheriff’s report, Randall Garrett, 27, was arguing with his wife shortly before 3 a.m. in the 58600 block of Sunflower Drive when the woman said the argument turned physical. The woman said Garret was hitting her, choking her, grabbed her around her neck and threw her into a wall. The woman said she couldn’t lift her arm and her head was ringing. After an investigation, Randall Garrett was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
