A Twentynine Palms man was arrested after Sheriff deputies say he abused his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report of the incident, deputies brought Chadwick Novak, who was drunk, to his home in the 7400 block of Sahara Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 3:45 a.m. Saturday. After he got home, he threw his wife to the ground, then locked himself in a bedroom with a rifle. When Chadwick Novak finally emerged from the bedroom, he was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse. Chadwick Novak was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
