AN ARREST FOR DEBIT CARD THEFT IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Saturday accused of stealing and using her friend’s debit card. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim told deputies that she was notified by her bank of suspicious activity in her bank account, at which time the woman realized her debit card had been stolen and used at the Plaza Market in Twentynine Palms. After an investigation, the deputy determined that Tiffany Hall, 27, had stolen her friend’s bank card and used it without permission for multiple purchases. Tiffany Hall was arrested on suspicion of fraudulent use of a debit card, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $25,000.
