AN ARREST AFTER A STABBING AT A YUCCA VALLEY MOTEL

A Riverside man was arrested Tuesday, accused of stabbing his girlfriend in an arm. Deputies were called to a motel in the 55400 block of Highway 62 in Yucca Valley about 8:20 p.m. because a woman said Isaac Davalos, 37, stabbed her in the left forearm. The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene and refused to go to the hospital. Isaac Davalos was arrested on suspicion of assault with a weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
