AN ARREST AFTER A JOSHUA TREE SHOOTING

A Joshua Tree man was arrested Saturday, after he allegedly shot at a woman during an argument. According to a Sheriff’s report, Tony Randall, 51, was arguing with his ex-girlfriend about 8 p.m. in the 62500 block of La Crescenta in Joshua Tree. During the argument, deputies say Randall fired one round from the gun in the direction of the woman, who was not injured, to scare her off. Tony Randall was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
