American Sign Language uses hand gestures to communicate with those who can’t hear. The Yucca Valley Senior Center will hold a free beginners’ class to learn American Sign Language Thursday, March 21, from, 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Senior Center, behind the Yucca Valley Library. The class is open to participants of all ages; you do not need to be a senior citizen to take the class. For more information, call 760-853-0208.
