The Mojave Desert Land Trust and Visit 29 Palms invite you to a special evening under the stars at the Amboy Crater in Mojave Trails National Monument on Saturday October 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the California Desert Protection Act with Desert Oracle’s Ken Layne as he recounts spooky stories and historic tales around the campfire from 7p.m. to 8 p.m. Afterwards, experience the 29 Palms Astronomy Club’s spectacular tour of the night sky from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The celebration will be held at 87520 National Trails Highway in Amboy.
