Amanda Mohn of Twentynine Palms was awarded a $500 scholarship to Copper Mountain College for the 2020-21 academic year. Amanda Mohn was presented with the Trisha Laubenstein Elementary School Teacher scholarship award. The scholarship was established by Chris Laubenstein, in honor of his wife, an elementary teacher, who died suddenly last year. Amanda Mohn is the second recipient of the award.
Other scholarship winners, who begin their college careers at CMC this fall are: Alexis Carter, Dylan Espinosa, Kale Repasky and Crystal Sanchez from Black Rock High School; and Annie Hilderbrand and Brandon Mejia from Yucca Valley High School.
