The Hi-Desert Hospice in Joshua Tree hosts a support group for caregivers of Alzheimer and dementia patients on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Each meeting is FREE and provides a safe, comfortable setting to navigate the difficulties that often accompany Alzheimer’s. Thursday’s meeting, January 9, will take place from 11 a.m. to noon at the Helen Gray Education Center, 6601 White Feather Road in Joshua Tree.
