At tonight’s regular 7 p.m. board meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, directors will consider a will serve letter for the proposed 248-unit Alta Mira housing development following a presentation from a representative of the developer. Also tonight, the Board will receive an update on plans for addressing the State’s chromium 6 regulations, as well as hear an overview of the District’s rates and fees. These items are in addition to regular reports, consent items and public comment as usual. It all happens at the District office on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
