ALL FIRES NOW REQUIRE PERMITS BECAUSE OF DROUGHT

Due to the drought in California, there is an increased potential for major wildfires. Fire fighters are on high alert, and they are asking everyone to be extra vigilant around fires while enjoying the outdoors. County fire fighters remind residents and visitors that all campfires, bonfires, vegetation fires, and debris burns require a permit. The permits are free from your local fire station. Fire fighters also recommend that fire extinguishers and other fire prevention tools, such as hoses and shovels, be nearby in case the fire gets out of control.
