ALASKAN RANGER TO GIVE LECTURE TOMORROW

Stories and photos of birds, blooms, and bears from the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park in Alaska will be the focus of the Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum Thursday, October 15. Drawing from both work experience and vacations, retired park ranger Cindy Von Halle will take you on trails and travels throughout Alaska and the Yukon Territory. The lecture starts at noon. Bring your lunch; beverages will be served. Admission is $5, or free for members of the museum.
