Register by Friday, November 4, for adult softball leagues in Twentynine Palms. The co-ed league will run on Monday and Wednesday nights and the men’s league on Tuesday nights. Team fees are $400. Stop by the recreation office located at Luckie Park for more information and to register. Applications are also being accepted for contract umpires for the adult slow pitch softball leagues. Applicants must be 18 or older and be available Monday through Thursday evenings on an “as scheduled” basis. Thorough knowledge of the rules and regulations of the game of slow-pitch softball is required; knowledge of ASA regulations is highly desirable. Applications are available at the Twentynine Palms Recreation office at at 74362 Joe Davis Drive in Luckie Park from 1 to 6, Monday through Friday. For more information, call 760-367-7562.
