The Hi-Desert Playhouse will perform its second production of its acclaimed Reader’s Theater Series with a powerful stage adaption of ADDRESS UNKNOWN this Friday and Saturday (January 18 & 19) at 7:30 pm. Telling the story of two best friends during the turbulent times leading up to World War II, ADDRESS UNKNOWN is directed by and will star award-winning actors Barry Cutler and Derrik Lewis. This special live theater production will be performed at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s Blak Box Theater in Joshua Tree. First adapted for the stage in 2004 by Frank Dunlop, the play is based on Katherine Kressmann Taylor’s 1938 best-selling book and has the twisty excitement of a psychological thriller. ADDRESS UNKNOWN has a suggested rating of PG-13 and no children under age 5 are admitted. Elite seating tickets are $18 and General admission tickets are only $12. All tickets include one drink ticket. A cash bar is also available.
