The hilarious “Addams Family Musical”—perfect for the season—has opened for a five-week run at Theatre 29. The show, rated PG for mild innuendo and simulated torture, played to full houses on its opening weekend. ROP Broadcast student Diana Jimenez has more about the show and how to get tickets…
The Addams Family is now hitting the stage at Theatre 29. This production is directed by Desert Theatre League award winner Kathryn Ferguson. This is a touching story about Wednesday Addams falling in love with the normal boy Lucas Beineke, an Ohio resident whom her parents have never met. If that wasn’t bad enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him to not tell her mother, forcing Gomez to lie to his wonderful wife Morticia. This makes for an interesting night, as Wednesday invited Lucas and his family to dinner at their residence. “The Addams Family” is to DIE for. The show runs through the month of October with two matinees. To make reservations, call the Theatre 29 Box Office at 760-361-4151.
Tickets are $8 to $12, and can also be purchased online at www.theatre29.org.
