ACTIVE DUTY, SOME RETIREES AND WORKERS CAN NOW GET VACCINE ON MARINE BASE

Active-duty service members, and some government workers and military retirees can receive vaccinations for COVID-19 on the Combat Center in Twentynine Palms today (Feb. 11). Veterans who are 75 years or older can be vaccinated by appointment at the naval hospital’s immunization clinic. Call 760-830-2698 to schedule an appointment.

Vaccinations are also available on a walk-in basis at the West Gym from 8 to 4 Monday through Friday for healthcare workers, first responders, frontline essential workers, and mission-essential workers who work on the Marine Corps base, as well as personnel preparing to deploy. In addition, Tricare beneficiaries who are 65 or older, and Tricare beneficiaries aged 18 to 64 who are at increased risk for severe illness, are also eligible for vaccinations.
