Theatre 29 is once again offering acting workshops for all ages. After a successful inaugural spring session, theater professional Denis McCourt returns to Theatre 29 to teach summer acting classes. Rebecca Havely has all the details…
Actors of all ages, become the most authentic dynamic performer you can be. Theatre 29 acting workshops are taught by director/actor/writer/teacher Denis McCourt. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater, a Master of Fine Arts in acting, and currently teaches at the McCallum Theatre.
There are three workshops available: for elementary kids, “Summer Break Theatre Games” at 3:30; for teens, “Bringing All of You to the Ensemble” at 4:30; and “Acting Technique” for adults at 5:30. The classes run four consecutive Mondays beginning July 22. Workshop fees cover all four classes; kids pay $45, teens $60, and adults $75.
