A call about an abandoned vehicle in Joshua Tree resulted in the arrest of a man suspected of burglary. About 5 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to Daisy Lane and Copper Moon Lane in Joshua Tree about a vehicle that had been involved in a crash and left at the scene. The caller also mentioned that deputies should check out a nearby home, as Brandon Lynch had been seen there. Lynch, 41, of Torrance, was a suspect in the burglary of a neighbor’s house. Deputies went to a home in the 6500 block of Daisy Lane and arrested Brandon Lynch for investigation of grand theft and being in possession of stolen property, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and was released on $25,000 bail.
