The Yucca Valley High School girls tennis team beat Big Bear 13-5 Tuesday. Coach Cindy Miller said outstanding players were in singles Katie Brattain went 3-0; Carrie Scofield 3-0; April Bratcher 1-1. In doubles, Dawn Rich and Moriah Goddard, 3-0; Ashlin Gueltzow and Miranda Green, 2-1; Nikole Cody and Alli Koedel, 1-1. The team is now 8-0 and in first place. Next game will be home today against Desert Hot Springs.
