The Joshua Springs Christian School boys’ basketball team faced Apple Valley Christian at home Friday night. Coach Adam Everhart said the final score was a win for Joshua Springs 51-39. The win brings the Lightning to 1-1 on the season.
Standouts: Captains Dillon Lovejoy scored 19 points and Jaren Pendergrass scored 15 points; Max Hart and Sam Velasco had five points each.
The Lightning’s next game is November 29 at home versus Calvary Chapel in Downey.
