The AARP Fraud Watch Networks helps raise awareness of consumer fraud. Reporter Rebecca Havely says beware of certain job ads…

If an ad for a job sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Beware of job ads that guarantee you’ll make a certain amount of money or that you can work from home, these are most likely scams. Do not respond to ads which ask you to send money so you can either get the job, acquire more job listings, receive supplies to start a business at home or obtain “certification” that’s supposed to get you a job. If you spot a job scam report it to local law enforcement and contact the AARP Fraud Watch Network at www.aarp.org/fraudwatchnetwork.
