An argument over drugs led to a thrown beer can and an arrest for elderly abuse. According to a Sheriff’s report, when a 66-year-old woman told William Bassine, 30, that she wouldn’t allow drugs in the house, he allegedly threw a beer can at her and which made her arm bleed. He then left the house in the 5600 block of Daisy Avenue in Twentynine Palms. After an investigation, William Bassine was arrested on suspicion of elderly abuse, booked into West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
