A woman was arrested in Yucca Valley Monday, accused of stabbing her boyfriend and threatening to kill him during an argument. A Sheriff’s report states that a deputy was sent to the 7500 block of Cibola Trail in Yucca Valley about 3:40 p.m. for a hang-up 911 call. Shauna Mauk, 46, had been arguing with her boyfriend of five months over infidelity when Mauk allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to kill the man. When the victim tried to wrestle the knife away from Mauk, he was cut on his left forearm. Shauna Mauk was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
