The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission meets tonight with taxis and massage parlors on its mind. Among other things, the commission will hold a public hearing on whether to amend the city’s zoning ordinance to permit taxi services in certain areas. It will also invite public input on whether to allow licensed massage parlors in the city. And, finally, the commission will consider whether to allow four seagoing containers to be used for storage at the Vista del Sol housing project, a multi-family residential development on the 73000 block of Two-Mile Road.
