The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help concerning a shooting in Twentynine Palms Saturday night. According to the Sheriff’s Department, about 10 p.m., multiple residents called to report at least three shots fired in the 6400 block of Desert Queen Avenue. Arriving deputies found a 27-year-old man who had a non-life-threatening wound to his right leg. It’s not known if the bullet grazed the man’s leg or if he was wounded by shrapnel from a bullet that hit a cinderblock wall behind him. The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene.
