A REMINDER ABOUT YOUR COUNTY PROPERTY TAXES

San Bernardino County tax collectors are issuing a reminder that Monday, December 11, is the last day to pay the first installment of property taxes to avoid a 10 percent penalty. Here’s reporter Andrew Dieleman with information on how you can make those payments on time…

The first installment of property taxes is due by Monday, December 11. Payments that are received late will incur a 10 percent penalty, so be sure to make your first payment on time. You can pay online, at mytaxcollector.com or by phone at 760-241-8829. Mailed payments should be sent to the Tax Collector’s Office at 268 West Hospitality Lane, First Floor in San Bernardino or can be hand-delivered to the High Desert Government Center at 15900 Smoke Tree Street in Hesperia. There is no additional fee to pay using a checking or savings account, but an extra fee will be charged for using a credit card. Property owners can also sign up online to have property tax bills emailed to them.
