A REMINDER ABOUT CELL PHONE LAWS

Distracted driving is the number one cause of crashes on area highways, with cell phone use a major contributor. ROP broadcast student Christian McBee has the reminder…

Cell Phone Laws and Regulations while driving in California the top four laws are: 1. All handheld ban for all drivers while driving any vehicle. 2. Ban on all cell phone use (handheld and hands free) for bus drivers. 3. Ban on all cell phone use (handheld and hands free) for novice drivers. 4. Ban on texting for all drivers. Some people think they’re skilled enough to drive while on the cell phone, but they don’t think they would be the cause of a car accident. According to distraction.gov, that’s why car accidents are accidents—because nobody meant for it to happen. Just stop and think about what could happen and think about your friends and family; what they would do without you? Next time you pick up a cell phone while driving, think about who else you are in putting in danger and their families.
