A RASH OF VEHICLE BURGLARIES IN YUCCA VALLEY

Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a rash of vehicle burglaries in Yucca Valley Tuesday night. Three residents in the 57100 and 57200 blocks of Selecta Avenue called deputies to report that their vehicles had been broken into, and some had been stolen. Residents reported a Range Rover, a GMC Sierra, a Dodge Caravan, and a Suzuki GSXR 750 were stolen. At one home, the residents said the thieves got the garage remote control from a vehicle parked outside, then entered the home and took the keys to steal the vehicles. The thieves also stole tools and other items from the garage. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department.
