New businesses that have filed building permits in Yucca Valley are Arby’s in the old Taco Bell building, and a dialysis company in the former Yellow Mart building. Steak and Shake restaurant has filed a conditional use permit application for the property in front of Home Depot. Harbor Freight Tools has submitted building plans for improvements to the old Walmart building.
Two weeks ago, the Planning Commission approved plans for an equine vet clinic on the southeast corner of Inca and Benecia Trails. The Planning Commission will review an application at its November 10 meeting, for an addition of 554 square feet to the Social Security building. And a tentative parcel map application has been submitted to subdivide 61 acres on the west side of Fairway, north of Pinon, into four parcels and a remainder parcel.
