A NEW RESIDENT IN JOSHUA TREE

As of this morning a new resident is beaming down on Joshua Tree’s East side. The 40-50 foot tall “cowboy” rescued and rehabbed after a long stand in Mecca, was installed at “The Station” at 61943 Twentynine Palms Highway today. Owner Glen Steigelman said after careful restoration, Joshua Tree’s newest landmark will be a beacon to the new souvenir and coffee and beverage shop at the location. He said they hope to open around the 1st of April. “The Station” has been a movie and video location for some time and the addition of a tourist-based business to the location will be a welcome addition to the Joshua Tree business strip.
