Everyone is invited to a free vegetarian bake off and dinner at 5 p.m. this Sunday at the Community United Methodist Church on East Parkway in Joshua Tree. Along with dinner, fresh vegetables will be distributed. As with all Transition Joshua Tree events, this is a no-waste dinner; please bring your own dishes, utensils and a bag to take home some vegetables. Contact [email protected] to donate or volunteer. And yes, you can use real butter in your potluck baked goods.
